Cat shaking - what could it be?

My darling moggy jumped up on my lap for her usual evening cuddle earlier and had barely settled herself before I realised she was shaking - almost like muscle spasms. Seemed to be centred around her front shoulders and neck. Didn't seem to bother her at all she was purring away and settled down to sleep. Shaking lasted 10/15 mins then stopped. Any ideas what could cause it?

Not a clue! Of course if it starts happening regularly take her to the vet. Hopefully someone else will have some ideas.

Yeah I was considering a trip to the vet but she's not done it since. Does seem a little low today though I will keep an eye on her
