following on from thread about tranquilisers, has anyone used Calmex?
vet has indicated it is a more "natural" alternative that calms, to be used for 2 weeks before the actual house move, then 2 weeks after.

anyone had any experience?

Not used Calmex, but have used zylkene which is very similar. Zylkene has very good results.

Hi, I'm a vet nurse and a lot of our clients are finding that Kalmaid is the best calming product at the moment(And it comes in a fishy gel).
We get good reports of zylkene as well. No one found calmex to be effective when we trialled it.
Good luck.

thanks, so you'd recommend the gel over the liquid then?

The only difference in the Kalmaid liquid v gel is the taste. The liquid works out better value if your cat will take it (think its toffee flavour!) the gel goes down well with cats as its fishy and they will lick it off their paws!
