Cat in a static caravan

Has anybody taken their cat on holiday to a static caravan? Are we mad to even consider it?

Depends on the cat - eg is it a litter tray homebody and deeply bonded to you or is it a hunter who likes to go outside and litters outside ? I've very successfully taken cats on UK holidays before now but they were housecats who were joined to me at the hip and would have pined badly to be apart. (I also set aside ME-AND-CAT time daily in the new places to give them their proper ration of love and cuddles - your holiday might not permit that?)
