Golden chinchilla persians?

Are they a total nightmare to groom? Im guessing they shed everywhere too? Any experience with them, anyone?

yes with any persian or long haired cat you are talking daily brushing but if you get the cat used to grooming from being a kitten the grooming is a ten minute job, the main bits they get tangles is under thier inside legs and on thier knickers funnily enough the long hairs dont seem to moult any more than the short hairs you can just see them more

The house is a bit sad with only two cats, so we are going to add another kitten fairly soon. I would feel somehow disloyal getting a cat that looked like the one who passed away recently, so am looking for a sweet tempered type of kitty which won't mind a mainly indoor life. Ten mins is certainly longer than I spend on my raggies, but not too bad.
