I need to book my Cats in for their annual boosters, I aways forget how expensive it is! Its going to cost me almost £100 for 2 Cats.

So how much do other people pay?

Low thirties per cat if I recall. (But that will include a quick MOT with no separate examination fee.)

(Reminds me to book Seniorboy in soon for his annual.)

cozietoesie · 14/01/2013 12:24

Sorry - that would be for a 3x jab. The full range may be more expensive eg if you have cats who go outside.

NotSoNervous · 14/01/2013 12:33

£22

£26 at local vet which is said to be dearest surgery around. It's for 3 diseases but not one that we don't have much of in this area. Also includes a quick checkup which saves usual £26 fee to see & chat to vet for 5 minutes.

I'm guessing that none of you are around SE London?

No - but I was once. And the vet I used there was near enough second mortgage territory. Maybe London vets have higher costs to defray.

derekthehamster · 14/01/2013 16:19

£36

That page I linked to are doing cat boosters in SE london on Jan 20th for £10 each including free microchip!!

sashh · 15/01/2013 04:58

I paid £33.80 a week or two ago, that included a general health check from the vet for one cat.

The vet also does a 'health plan' where you pay a monthly fee and it covers boosters, flea and worm treatment and a couple of consultations.

Thanks Vegancow that looks good but is a half hour drive from us. My Cats hate being in the car and cry like they are being skinned alive so I have managed to find a vet a bit nearer that is almost £10 cheaper.
I really woudl love to know how much the actual vaccinations cost!

What a shame, but I know some cats hate travelling so you would want to keep that down.

I reckon the vaccines cost the vets about £2.50!
