Anywhere that wiil accept donations of opened cat biscuits?

I have stupidly tried the kitty on a couple of different brands of cat biscuits, both of which it seems she would rather starve than eat.

It seems so wrong to throw them away, is there a cat shelter/charity that would take them?

It does seem a shame to bin it, hugo, but some places are a bit reluctant to take opened stuff including because they don't know how long it's been like that.

Are you sure you can't find a neighbour or friend that would be glad of it ?

(Seniorboy takes against certain foods and utterly refuses to eat them but he's on pouches so that makes my life a lot easier because they're sealed so can just be popped in a bag and dropped in the CPL box at the nearby big supermarket.)

Perhaps they could be recycled somehow? I'm thinking wormery?

I could of course put them outside for all the local kittys, but I can just imagine their little faces when the supply runs out.

Flick cat is going through old lady fussy phase. I called my local Cats Protection and they had the various opened dry food packets. I did explain to CP why I was giving them the food. I got a phone call of thanks afterwards, so all seemed well.

Now that's good to know. I've always found a home for food but I hate to think of any food going in a bin - what with shelters having such a hard time financially.
