Ok so one of my kittens (the eldest) 6 months on the 15th & he is not kitten like at all he is huge not fat & just seems to lounge about all the time yet i expected with him been a kitten he would be a lot more active and playful he isnt even bothered with the Christmas tree unlike my other 2 crazy cat lady who seem to have endless hours of fun with the baubles and climbing the damn thing , Just needing a bit of reassurance that his behaviour is normal Xmas Confused

Some cats are natural slobs, I'm afraid - but it would be worth reviewing his food and weight I think. (I know you said he's not fat - but just how heavy is he and what breed of cat? It's easy for an owner to kid themselves about excess weight and with more than one cat in the house, he could be a pig who's robbing the others' food bowls and piling on the pounds.)

Is he pooing/peeing and eating/drinking (to your knowledge) normally? Also, has he been to the vet for shots and neutering recently?

He is eating etc normally & definitely not nicking the others food & had his jabs etc .
he is cross bsh so that may account for his size thanks

Just checking as neutering can sometimes affect them. What weight is he?

(I speak as the onetime guardian of an overweight kitten - a story of shame which is never to be repeated!)

My girl got quite plump after neutering at 6 months....she seems to have evened out now, though,at 15 months. She is a shortish small cat, so does look a bit round!

We had a natural born couch potato cat, he lived with 3 female cats though so we had enough bickering to contend with without him joining in too.
