My 10 year old cat keeps being sick

Shes a domesticated long haired cat, over the last couple of weeks i've noticed shes lost a bit of weight. Shes sick every couple of days, sometimes its just regurgitated biscuits. She doesnt really get hairballs despite the long hair !
She has been diagnosed with IBD before ( like human IBS ) but then she had blood in her poo.. has anyone any advice on which dry food I could try her on before I take her to the vets next week ? Theres so many out there !

I'd see if you can get her to the vets sooner than next week and I wouldn't be trying to change her diet beforehand if I were you. You haven't said anything about her appetite and peeing but the vomiting and weight loss, given her age, sounds just a little like dodgy kidneys. Best to get her there this week, I think, so that the vet can run some tests (probably bloods and urine) to see if they can find out what's wrong.

Her appetites fine, shes not peeing that much in her litter tray but she does go out so could be doing it there.. hope they can fit me in before next week now !

Well if her appetite's good that's something. If you can get her in this week on a non-emergency slot that will actually be a bit better for you, I think. Next week is going to start to be becoming madness in vets' surgeries (like other places) and getting blood results (if needed) might start to get difficult as holidays approach.

Sounds like much the same symptoms as my 13yo cat. He had a blood test and he was in renal failure. He is now on daily medication and monthly vitb12 shots. The vomitting has stopped and he is putting on weight. So at the moment it is all quite treatable.
