Cat-Eye Infection

Jusf noticed that my cats eye is slightly closed & weeping & he will not let me near it to clean yet he usually lets you do anything to him , Is there anything i can do to help & should i take him to the Vets tomorrow , Extremely worried about him Confused

Yes - vet tomorrow. Eye infections can clear up but they can become serious.

In the meantime, can you maybe lull him into relaxation enough to wipe it with some clean warm water in a - preferably clean cotton lint or a clean non-shedding cloth; but if you don't have either of those some cotton wool that's not shedding fibre. (eg use the 'whole' side.)

PS - that's a gentle wipe over the eye going with the direction of the fur (inner to outer) to get rid of any weeping residue and not a 'scrub'. Dispose of whatever you used (or pop in the machine at a high temp if a facecloth) after use - in case of infection.
