We got our new kitten today, and he's absolutely gorgeous! Jet black (even his whiskers) big yellow eyes and has been with us for 2.5 hours now, and has finally stopped purring( only because he's fallen asleep).
Can't believe he's here - we had to buy a new house so we could get him Grin

Awwwww we love black cats with yellow eyes!!!

Our baby boy is 4 now, took him a while to train us, but we've settled in now

Fantastic! And congratulations on your choice of a black cat - the Cats Protection League held a National Black Cat Day recently to celebrate our friends as they are surprising difficult for them to home.

Enjoy all the kitteny fun!

He looks very self possessed as well. Am quite jealous.

lljkk · 04/11/2012 17:13

Awwwww. We've got one like that, too.

pearlgirl · 04/11/2012 17:18

He looks lovely. We currently have six black cats with yellow eyes as the stray we took in had six kittens (one has already gone to his new home and another goes this evening)- they are lovely.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/11/2012 19:41

Oh he is gorgeous. Such a confident looking chap.

Is he neutered and everything?

eyestightshut · 04/11/2012 20:43

He is supremely confident - so far hasn't been fazed by the stream of kids coming to see him, and is sitting on the window sill watching the fireworks Grin, also having his mad hour - clinbing on the radiator, squaring up to his reflection in the mirror and hunting the stray blueberries that are hiding under the fridge!zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzx

Snip Snip!

DameEnidsOrange · 04/11/2012 21:04

Gorgeous, enjoy your new addition

eyestightshut · 04/11/2012 21:16

Don't worry Fluffycloud! We are very responsible cat owners - as I said in my original thread, we had to buy a new house to be able to get him (lived on a main road previously)So far this cat has cost us a lot of money, we're not going to scrimp on the cost of getting him neutered Grin
