How much does your vet charge for the flea injection?

Can you have it done the same time as their jabs?

The cats fur is too thick for advocate and he keeps turning around while I'm doing it in a "what are you doing to me woman" kind of way and I'm worried he's not getting the full dose.

I suppose I'd have to get a seperate wormer that isnt a tablet.

The injection does not kill live fleas it just prevents them breeding it is really great for indoor cats I think it is about £35 with us and lasts 6 months.

Is it the one called Program? I think it's about £40. They do do it at our vets but you can tell they aren't keen. Huge thick needle. Sad

He's not an indoor cat.

Bugger. Sad.

I could always snip a bit of fur off him, it would make him easier to dose. The other cats will laugh at him, it'll be like a reverse Mohican.

Lots of people do cut a little bit of fur to make it easier. The posh arrogant boy really really hates the spot on, but is not bothered at all by his seresto collar which lasts 8 months.

Is the injection as effective as spot-ons? Coziesebiorboy doesn't really mind his spot-ons but he doesn't much like them either. It would be useful to have him sorted out (as a housecat) in one quick go because he sees the vet at least every 6 months anyway.

We use it for our cats. You can have it at the same time as the other injections. It is a big needle but it lasts six months and we haven't had any problems with it.

Our cats are indoor cats. I volunteer at a rescue so it's possible that sometimes I might bring a flea home (because people bring in cardboard boxes full of flea-ridden kittens), but it seems to work fine.
