He's not a massive fan of cats anyway but i am. Had them all my life, always rescued and he's finally come round to the idea of getting a kitten (hopefully from a rescue) but me being me had to go one further and i now think it would be better to get 2 from the same litter. Im home all day (sahm) but looking for a part time job atm so they'd have company while at work etc. But thats the only reason i can come up with. Is there any other reasons??? If you can think of any it might help win him round.

We've just got 2 from the RSPCA - they are hilarious.

its worth trying the smaller independant rescues, i work for haworth cat rescue and they rehome to families with younger children, at the moment cyprus pride house (yes in cyprus) they are on facebook has had 12 kittens dumped on them in the last few weeks, georgous kittens and all looking for homes in the uk, the couple who run the rescue are at the moment in dire straights financially having both lost thier jobs, i dont know where you live but the animals fly into heathrow with pet passports, chipped , neutered and its so easy to pick them up from the animal center there i adopted my dog from them and she is a darling hound cross who is around 8 years old

DMIL had two sisters and their brother, they were hilarious to watch.

The Tom did eventually adopt a family up the road when he'd had enough of sharing his space with two very bossy ladies.
