Got a rescue cat last month. Kept him in for whole month as advised. He is 8-10 years old. Yesterday we let him out. We haven't seen him since. So far he has missed his evening meal (Sun) and his breakfast today.

Will he come back or has he gone?

He has been a bit nervous and has a tendency to hide away sometimes.

It was very tense and rather Ray Mears ish style.

I suspect he has been in a neighbours house. They have been away and came back Tuesday - just enough time for him to get hungry. The have cats themselves and a cat flap. Plus someone has been going in feeding them so I think he's made himself to that!

ExMIL's cat disappeared for three months and just walked in once night. Old Cat hid in a box when we moved house earlier this year and I thought he had run away. He came out after three days & is currently sitting on my feet. So glad he has come back cece!

Good news!!!

We once cat sat in Devon and fed their 5 cats, we read through the descriptions and thought the wild feral one seemed okay. On the last day another cat turned up - very wild and feral and looking exactly the same as one of the others Blush
