Strange toilet habits

Does anyone else's cat run around the house madly, making a funny growling sound, before dashing to the litter tray, digging frantically and producing a poo? I get the impression the daft animal thinks it's being chased by the impending poo!

Mine does chase its own tail fairly regularly though.....

My senior boy sometimes dashes a bit and makes noises. I think he knows what's coming and doesn't like the resultant smell.

Yes, he runs around the house like a lunatic and goes off on a mad dash after using the tray.
