My cat is dying.

I don't think she'll last the night, she's peaceful but it's the end. She's old and in poor health & she's had a lovely life with us but I still can't stop crying. My DS is distraught - she was always his cat, he adores her. Lots of tears here tonight. Sad

Thank you everyone. She was still alive this morning but it was very upsetting as she kept trying to get out of her bed and her legs couldn't support her Sad I took her to the vet who put her to sleep. I have cried so much, it's been a sad day. We've buried her in the garden in her favourite spot. DS cried but knows it was the kindest thing.

Oh x-posted, you did the best thing for her xx Take time to talk about her. My kids still talk of our 15 yr old cat who died almost two years ago. Kids like to talk.

so sad to hear about your cat ....... sometimes this decision is the best thing we can do for out much loved pets . Have been in that place with cats. dogs and DC so many hugs for you and DS x
