Advice for a persian cat owner

Just looking for some advice.

I have a very beautiful persian cat, who i love to bits, basically he is another member of my family.

I am just worried when the time comes and he passes away(hope its not for a long time yet). I really don't want to get him cremated, but, unfortunately, I do not have a garden to bury him in.

Any advice on what i could do?

Unless a friend is willing to loan you a square of garden its going to be tricky not having him cremated. Pet cemetaries where you can buy a patch of land to bury him in are few and far between. You can have his ashes returned to scatter or keep, and you can take him to a different crematorium to the one used by your vet if you prefer (so that you can go with him).
As you say, hopefully it will be some years before you need to think about this!
