Advice on my poor fluffy cat

My poor cat has been off her food for about a week just taking a few mouthfulls so decided to take her o the vet. She has a tumour in her liver and her organs are enlarged.. The vet gave her a steroid injection to try and get her to eat, but said if not really eaten by Monday we have to think about putting her to sleep... We are all so sad and desperately trying her with food. She has eaten almost a tin of tuna today so that's good but she is so thin...

It's truly unbelievable how quickly she's gone downhill... Any ideas on tempters? She normally goes crazy for some cooked chicken and ham but won't touch it... I read online baby food can be good, any other ideas??

My eldest child ds is heartbroken and is trying to feed her everything!! So so sad...

I'm sorry to hear about your poor kitty. The tuna is good, maybe some tinned salmon would work too if she likes fish? Or you could try some scrambled egg, mine like that.

I feel for you, CharlieBoo. One of my former boys had kidney failure and like yours was given steroids to try and kickstart his system. They had a good effect for a few days but soon he stopped being interested in eating again although being desperately thin. I tried everything - about the only thing he was occasionally tempted by was the cooked roast chicken from the Coop which is very succulent. (Elmwood, I think the brand is called.) The other supermarkets do similar.

I have to say, though, that even that didn't tempt for long. When they stop wanting food for those reasons.......there's not a lot you can do. Awful for you, family and eldest DS in particular.
