We have a female cat, estimated age around 2 who we adopted last February. She was no trouble to feed, happy with dried food (Go Cat), no begging (we are veggie so don't have scraps to give).
She was spayed about 6 weeks ago. We also changed her to brand of dried food sold at the Vet. She is fed the quantity recommended on the bag. For couple of weeks she was more or less normal but gradually her appetite has become huge and she is now constantly begging for food. For example, she wakes us at 6am yowling outside our bedroom door. As soon as she eats she is hungry again.
She has been wormed. I don't know whether she has a psychological problem (though nothing else has changed) or whether spayed cats' thoughts just turn to food. What shall I do?
