Collecting kitten from breeder question

I've put a deposit on a Maine Coon kitten (he's already called Brian Smile).. He's now 11 weeks old and the breeder hasn't even done his first jab (she said she would do it this week..). The problem is that I have arranged to take a week off work and had planned to collect him on 17/8 when he will be 13 weeks old. Went to visit him on Saturday and the breeder is saying I can collect him on 30/8 when he will be almost 16 weeks old as that's when his course of jabs will be done. I can't take time off work then. AIBU to stick to asking her to let me have him on 17/8 and to finish off his course of jabs myself? I've had pedigree cats and know that by 13 weeks they really should have had their jabs finished. Do breeders have arrangements with vets to have the whole litter done for a certain price? Is this the issue?

No YANBU. If its a problem you could always take him to her vet. Cant imagine her vet will mind either way. You shouldnt be letting him out before neutering anyway so whether his jabs are finished or not when he goes to you shouldnt matter - unless you have other cats?

Thanks for the view. Yes, do have another cat who is vaccinated. I guess the other issue is if he has a reaction to the vaccine but that would appear after the first one anyway.
