Kitten and baby - do I need a cat net?

Lovely DH has finally agreed to me having a kitten from my friend's cats litter. We have 6mo dd2 - do we need to worry about cat nets for her cot, or is she past the age of having to worry if Beryl (the kitten :o) joins her for a nap?

I bought one. It lived under the sink. It might still be there actually. I'd offer you it but it's been there for 9 years, I am sure it will mouldy by now.

If your baby is at the sitting and grabbing stage I am sure Beryl will be far too sensible to risk it Grin

You might want to consider a stair gate across a doorway once the baby is mobile - so the cat can escape!

She's not quite sitting, but definitely hair pulling and grabbing so good point grumpla :o

We are fully stairgated due to ds and dogs, so she will be able to escape. So excited, she is a poppet :)
