My cat is approaching 12 months. She was spayed several months ago and has been going out for the last 2 months ish. She is lovely. Very affectionate towards me and sweet to my children.

However....we have lots of cats around where we live and my little cat fights them all!! She is very possessive over her garden (i suppose this is natural) and basically guards the perimeter pacing if she sees another cat nearby...

She does not care how big the bloody cat is - she will take it on! And so far.....Has won Grin

She is tiny - part of me actually admires her fiestyness - but one day she is going to come a cropper. Is anyone elses female like this?? Will she calm down - or is this just whilst she is still marking her territory etc?

All jokes aside - we love her and the thought of her getting hirt is worrying.

my ginger girl whiskey was like this every cat in the neighbourhood used to avoid her and look very worried walking past our garden, every time we moved she would beat up all competition no matter how big they were and can honestly say in 12 years she never came to any harm cant say what battle scars the other cats went home with, but she got on ok with the cats in the house who she lived with, i miss my little victor meldrew in fur
