... It's completely normal for the person who didn't make the bed to come upstairs and bedtime and not be surprised that only half is made as clearly the cat was sleeping on one side at the time of bed making!

[i just came into the bedroom to see this! Grin ]

Also, ds' tent has not been taken down for night as Adam was lying in it, sprawled on his back with one leg hanging out!

Thought I was the only one with a very spoilt cat and dog lol

SparklingGoldMedals · 27/07/2012 20:08

I never iron when Sparkling Cat is in as she sleeps on the chair by the cupboard and I couldn't possibly move her. Plus I never hoover, she might be scared. Hmm

SparklingGoldMedals · 27/07/2012 20:08

Obviously I do hoover, but when she's out. Not hoovering wouldn't be good.

RandomMess · 27/07/2012 20:09

We make our bed on demand as the cats like their faux fur throw on it Confused

SparklingGoldMedals · 27/07/2012 20:11

We have a fur throw Random she likes to do that 'pounding/making bed' thing on it. And she dribbles while she's doing it. Smile

...When your cat has gone round to next door because the neighbours are having a party and the host leaps up to get him a piece of salmon (washing the mayonnaise off it first, of course)

(They used to get him a chair when they had barbecues too - he sat at the end of the picnic bench)

BlingLoving · 27/07/2012 20:15

We thought our neighbours were friendly... Yours are definitely more impressive! But ours do like to corner me on my Blushway home to tell me what adam's been up to.

DP bought our cat a fillet steak to celebrate his (the cat's) birthday

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/07/2012 20:17

We leave the ceiling fan on all day when we are out so the cat can sleep in comfort during the hot weather.

In the winter he has a hot water bottle tucked under his own 13tog duvet so he doesnt get cold, he also has a furry throw. It used to be mine.

He's polished off 240gm of cooked chicken breast for dinner.

ThePathanKhansWitch · 27/07/2012 20:18

He only eats Red Salmon, turns his twitchy nose up at Pink.

Sunnywithachanceofshowers · 27/07/2012 20:33

When he has his own cup of water on a bedside table...

JustFabulous · 27/07/2012 20:39

Hoovering doesn't get done incase it wakes her up.

You spend longer choosing what food to buy her than you do everyone elses dinner.

Sunnywithachanceofshowers · 28/07/2012 11:03

He gets breakfast before everyone else. And more medical check ups.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/07/2012 20:21

I love the idea of the cat having it's own chair at a barbeque.

Catsmamma · 28/07/2012 20:25

My first cat used to like to participate in our mealtimes, he had outstanding manners at first and never begged, but by hte time the children came along he would sit on their laps and wait to be offered a bit of something delicious.

or if they were not being selfless enough he would help himself. My poor mil nearly had a fit when she saw the cat dabbling bits of sweetcorn off one of the children's plates.

CokeFan · 28/07/2012 20:30

Well, if he didn't have his own chair at the barbecue he would have taken someone else's Grin. He was very keen on his version of "sharing".

Mum had a cat flap put in but still ended up getting up early in the morning to let him in/out and having to stand there while he made a decision on whether it was too cold/wet/windy to go out.

DameDoom · 29/07/2012 03:44

When you buy a house for the only the garden is ideal for the cats .

DameDoom · 29/07/2012 03:51

I meant only fact - tis' v late. The house cost £25 000 over our budget. We got our cats 'for free' and they've been so cheap to run.

sashh · 29/07/2012 08:57

You buy chicken nuggets at McDonalds even though you don't like them, but the cat does.

You order the mixed grill at the pub so you can take the chicken home for the cat.

Sunnywithachanceofshowers · 29/07/2012 16:05

When he comes in from the rain a human wraps him in a towel and dries him off.
