My cat the boss

My cat is currently sprawled out on the sun lounger outside, while I sit in an uncomfy chair.

Thats not right is it?

My fat old cat thinks my office chair is her throne.

She comes in, meow this, meow that, circles the chair, attempts to jump up, gets down, meow this, meow that, jumps on the back of the chair and proceeds to push me forward until I'm hanging off the front of the chair.

We've given in and bought another chair so she can sit next to me but no doubt she will be wanting that one shortly.

The things we do!!

As I often post cats do not have owners they have staff.

Ours tells DH when his music is too loud, and he turns it off.

I can probably count on one hand the really comfortable night's sleep we've had since we got ours 10 months ago. They sprawl all over the bed and we try to fit our legs round them rather than shift them.

One of ours has a radar that tells her the second we have folded a corner of the duvet back for some reason (even if she's out in the garden), and she immediately comes running up, settles down smugly on the double layer of duvet and at bedtime has to be tipped off with much piteous yowling. She clings on until she's vertical. We have been known to sit on the floor rather than move them off a chair but I do refuse to be cold at night for them!
