My cat has a white bum.

I painted a windowsill yesterday with white gloss paint, half an hour later there were four perfect white cat footprints on the dresser, and a nice trail going down the stairs, across the kitchen floor, a flurry of them under the kitchen table, and a slightly harried-looking cat on the back doorstep.

I cleaned her paws off with some wipes (PowerForce MultiTask Wipes from Aldi, in case anyone else needs them, they are fab), washed them and let her out to sulk.

Today, DD noticed her bum. It's white. And dried-on.

I swear I didn't notice it yesterday!

i wouldnt worry too much as she sheds her fur the paint patch will vanish currently have a black and white cat with a lovely blue stripe down his side as he walked straight past the wall in the hall i had just painted daft beggars are cats

I can't believe both of you. Your ingratitude is stunning. Ok, they are above helping. The ate really even above supervising. But how magnanimous(e) of your kitties to test the dryness and spreadability of your paint.

lisaro you are right. Apart from testing my paint, my cat was kind enough to make sure I had to scrub the kitchen floor. On my hands and knees. For an hour. She had obviously seen how grubby it was from her vantage point of six inches, and realised that from the lofty heights of 5'6" I wouldn't be able to see, so she made sure I would notice.

ok i know jasper thought he would make a better paint brush than the one i was using but i dont think pale blue walls with black cat hairs attached will catch on as a trend somehow oh well maybe i should send the idea to a decorating company lol
