How can I stop my cat using my lawn as her litter tray?

What the title says really, moved house at the beginning of year to a house with cat flap (great because cat likes being able to come and go but had been stuck with times we were home to let her in/out for a few years) litter tray is still down but she doesn't use it anymore (and I'm more than happy for her to go outside) what I don't like is that she had taken to shitting in the lawn. How do I persuade her to go elsewhere? Ie flowerbed etc

Oooh strawberry you could actually be me! I'm afraid I don't have any top tips but would love to know the answer as we have nice patches of dead grass and piles of poop everywhere.

Coffee grounds, like from a coffee machine! We have successfully kept the 7 cats that live 2 doors down away using them.

I was a sceptic, but it went from cats toilet to garden overnight!

My 2 do this as well - It's worse than having a dog, at least they do some on their walks! Haven't got a coffee machine tho Sad going to try pepper spray if it ever stops raining. Have tried paprika and that didn't work. DH at the end of his tether with them, keeps threatening the cat sanctuary now we have a toddler and twins on the way.

Thanks kaz will try it :)

trazzle and soon2be it's horrible isn't it :( I love my furry baby but I wish she'd stop this. My DS is nearly walking and I don't want him playing in it either!
