Poor FABCat. What am I going to do now?

She is almost 18.
She has hyperestesia, arthritis and kidney failure.
She was diagnosed 7 years ago with the first illness and 17 months with the latter ones. She is doing really well though. Still plays, has seen off a fox and fronted up at some dogs - one who was much bigger than her Shock.

Last night I felt a lump and so took her the vet this morning. It is either a cyst or breast cancer ShockSad.

She has had antibiotics and will be seen again next week. Best case it is a cyst and she will be fine. Worse case is it is cancer and then there is nothing we can do and I will lose her Sad. Because of the problems with her kidneys she wouldn't cope with a GA so wouldn't be able to have the operation.

I am worried sick, really upset and would like some advice please if anyone has gone through this.

So sorry for fabcat and you all.

My 17 year old girl was diagnosed last november and we decided not to operate, it was too advanced, so I did what Maryz said and kept her home as she hated the vets, she had medication and phone guidance and passed away in april, in my arms on the way to pts at the vets, and I sobbed my heart out.

We just spoiled her rotten, made sure she was pain free and eating/drinking and just enjoyed her being there, treating her and making her as happy as possible.
