Automatic feeders - any recommendations

Hi!

Does anyone use an automatic feeder? If so, which one do you use and would you recommend it? We thought it might be a good idea if we know we're going to be out late or away overnight?

Thanks

We had a petsmart one where the lid lifted up at the required time but the cat learnt how to prise it open so we stopped using it.

Thanks fluffycloudland77, I leave that off my potentials. I was a bit worried about that type as I have a very food obsessed cat (ex-stray:)) who could probably work it out...

I have the 2 compartment ones from cat mate that have an ice pack in them.... Use them daily when I go to work with no problems do far .....

They use an as battery, and you can hear a ticking noise do can tell if they are working Grin

I have 2 15 week old kittens who haven't bust them yet .....

Bought from amazon as they were the cheapest site I could find....
