Help me name my kitten!

My family adopted a cat just over a month ago, and we found out that she was expecting kittens. Fast forward to thursday when she had 4 kittens, 1 black, 1 ginger, and 2 tabby coloured.

We've decided to keep the black one, and none of us can think of a name, so I'm handing the naming over to you guys.

(will put pics up once ive figured out how to do it.)

Derek. But only if its a girl.

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 08/07/2012 07:40

Bob. Emphasis on the second b.

Vertically · 08/07/2012 07:40

see, we were thinking of dave, but my 7year old said "thats a boys name, shes a girl" (we think). Always wanted a cat called Dave.

Maybe Kate then. Kate is short for Bob.

iscream · 08/07/2012 07:46

Davina-Dave for short can get you around the "thats a boys name".
We have a black cat named Luna, our friends black cat is named Tucker. We knew one other black cat named...Black Cat. Grin

CheerfulYank · 08/07/2012 07:46

Violet?

Carol? (seems like the female equivalent of Dave :) )

pinkyredrose · 08/07/2012 07:47

My friend has a ginger cat called Dave!

How about Stevie?!

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 08/07/2012 07:49

Can you call it whitey?

GingerPCatt · 08/07/2012 07:50

Zazzy...if you like the big bang theory.

Vertically · 08/07/2012 07:55

Our old cat was imaginatively called "Cat" by my eldest, who was only 15months old when we got him.

I like Zazzy, but my 2year old cant say "s" sounds, so would sound like Babby, which is what he calls the mum cat, who is called Tabby.

I managed to get pics up on my profile of them, they're now 3 days old.

Vertically · 08/07/2012 10:10

My youngest is far too literal, so Dog wouldn't work. At the moment, all animals are cats, spiders or birds. Even fish.

Jacob. I fostered a black cat called Jacob, he 'helped' me write my dissertation by climbing on my knee, up me and onto the back of the computer chair. He would intermittantly groom me.
