Good insurance policies for old cats?

Our old boy is (approx) 14 now. We are keen to keep him insured but our current policy has now increased to £50 a month Shock so I want to see if I can shop around for a better deal. Does anyone have any recommendations for older cats?

Also, policy-wise, is there anything I should watch out for/against?

TIA.

Make sure it's a 'lifetime' policy rather than just an annual one. This means that they cannot exclude existing conditions each year when you renew; only conditions that are pre-existing when you first take out the policy will be exluded. If he's gone any conditions now that are problematic or might be in the future, moving providers may not be a good idea as any new provider will want to exclude those conditions, I think.

Thanks. Good point. Smile He doesn't have any pre existing conditions so can hopefully find something a bit cheaper!
