Our boys came from the Blue Cross 3 weeks ago after being inside for 11 months. Saturday was first trip outside day and went very well apart from a celebratory kill of, guess what? A woodpecker!!!! Shock

Luckily it screamed blue murder so my OH retrieved it and it shot out of the door apparently unharmed, but it still begs the question - how the hell did he get it???

Luckily on carnage on today's expeditions...

Blimey, he took a woodpecker on? brave boy.

You'll be getting rabbits in no time.

Best look up your local wildlife rescue centre now, takes you ages when you have an injured rabbit in the cat box.

Ours caught one of the mice living in the wood pile and promptly let it go after showing it off to DH, who even had time for a quick photo as had his iPad in hand at the time.
