Not my fault. Friend texted me to ask if I knew of a good home for a little black kitten that is the last one left of the litter. What could I do? I ask you? I had no choice but to say YES!!! Grin

He/she (?) won't replace my Lola but only one cat just isn't enough. Hoping dog and cat take to her it.... but dog is the soppiest beast that ever lived and cat will just make sure it knows it's place.

So excited...... hopefully going to see it today.

Yay. Lola will always have her place jusr as this little one will. I am sure your other animals will be good with it.

Hurrah for kittens. My teeny black baby is now all gangly legs and is currently holding the dog in a sort of fierce neck bity grip.

He does sleep on my pillow and suck my ears though.

The one lonely kitten turned out be two - who couldn't possibly be seperated. so we are now a 3 cat and 1 dog household.

This thread has got me rubbing my hands and making daft squealing noises, too.:o

We're going to the local cat adoption centre for a kitten at the end of June. This is to coincide with the winter school break here in Melbourne, so I can supervise the kitten/dog interface. Dog always wanted to be the late echtcat's mate, but the mog was too old to ever to cuddle up to him.

In my heart, I'd like a big soppy ginger boy like the late lamented echtcat, but we'll see what's on offer. :)

Ormiriathomimus · 17/06/2012 21:06

May I just squeeeeee again please?

They are so utterly gorgeous and perfect! They curl up together and play and fight. As soon as anyone picks them up they fall asleep - they can sleep anywhere and in any position. They are totally unfazed by Harley (big black dog) who is desperate to play with them but also a bit nervous. They play with his tail which he puts up with for a while then barks at them.

I'll put some photos on my profile when I can find my IPhone Hmm
