twiggy was 3 years old and due her kitten next week, the refuse men came and told me they found her, just along the road, they knew she was ours as she used to sit in the window watch them empty the bins...such as sad day :(....

Sorry to hear your news. I know exactly what you are going through. At least you know where she is, better than wondering if she is missing. x

droitwichmummy · 09/06/2012 22:44

Oh no - I am sorry.

My little tortie is so affectionate (and half crazed - is this a tortie thing?) and beautiful.

You must feel bereft. Very sad for you.

Oh I'm so sorry! Sad I lost a cat as a child this way and I dread anything happening to my current two. Got a tortie (first time) last year and I am so utterly in love with her. She's the most companionable, affectionate cat I've ever known. Torties do seem to be wonderful.

Like oshuk says, at least you know, and don't have the worry. Small solace, I know.

Wilding · 14/06/2012 12:45

I'm so sorry to hear about your tortie - I would be in bits if anything happened to my two.

GetOrf I think that all tortoiseshell cats are a bit insane - my vet calls them 'naughty torties' for that reason Smile
