Cat gone missing :(

He has been with us for nearly 2 years. He was a stray that we looked after for cats protection and kept on as there were no fostering places. He was unlikely to get a home as he was 12yrs.

He had been living outside for a while when found, but was loving and friendly.

He went out last night at about 8pm when still light. We saw him on garden wall at 9pm (he ignored us!) But he never came home. He has access to house (through basement window), we have called. We have asked neighbours and dh went for a walkaround tonight at 6pm.

Worried about him, don't know what to do. Going to make fliers/posters tonight. He has had bladder problems in past, worried he is trapped somewhere. He its pretty streetwise can't imagine he would just take himself off.

Ok, I take it as a rescue he is chipped? Phone all the local vets and the council refuse and collections dept.

Knock on all the neighbours doors and ask that they check their garages/sheds etc. He might be hiding in there and not noticeable at first.

Ring your chip provider and tell them he is missing.

Hopefully he has just found a rather fascinating mouse hole and is picking them off one by one.
