Normally do my cats with front line but last lot hasn't worked, saw on here the other day people recommending a treatment (think it began with S) but now I can't find what it was.

Help meeeeeeee

One of our mogs been prescribed advocate instead of frontline as he had flea allergic dermatitis and the frontline just wasn't doing the job. Doesn't begin with an 's' tho!

Vet gave us Stronghold..says they no-longer recommend Frontline.

I recommended Seresto the new collar that you can only get from the vets. Kills live fleas, prevents them from breeding in the house and actually prevents ticks from attaching for 8 months for roughly the price of a six pack of frontline. I normally hate collars in cats, but I have seen all the safety data and videos and I am happy that they are safe, both my cats are wearing them. If you put a collar on today the next time you have to think about flea and tick treatment will be the 10th of Jan - to me a no brainer! Oh and it is really effective the same drug as in advocate plus a new one for repelling those awful ticks.
