eating non food items?advice needed

one my rescue kits seems to have taken a fancy to eating non food things.ive rescued small pieces of playmobile and this morning just got to him in time when heard chewing to rescue a drawing pin he had taken from pin boardSad

is this normal?

im worried silly when m back is turned he will hurt himselfSad

he is also trying to escape at every oppurtunity.his brother is doing ok,very settled

my half siamese does this i have taken off him some very inappropiate stuff all you can do is scout round and remove all non desirable objectsa like you would if you were childproofing for a toddler cos thats what he is a catty toddler lol, the wanting to go out how old is he if over 5-6 months old he has been with you 3 weeks and should be ok to start goung out now if still a baby i would keep him in a bit longer but no idea how you are going to manage that one

hes one in july by all accounts

im toddlerproofing best i can but with 4 kids its an uphill struggle as they dont see potential threats to his chewy naturre!
