and I need help to reduce the temptation to feed her.

Big kitten is looking at me with big kittens miaowing for her meat, tried to give little kitten some but she won't eat without big kitten there it seems.

Will they stop miaowing and go to sleep eventually?

I feel so cruel:(

Aww- she will forgive you! I usually say nothing after midnight, but better stick to what your vet has told you! I know it seems cruel, but you don't want her vomiting while under anaesthetic/ on recovery. Stay strong!

Watching with interest as crazykitten booked in for next week. Smile

I've been told no food after 6pm and water away at 7am and to be in for 8.30.

put out toys to see if it will distract her and brought through the beanbag that she loves to see if she'll go to sleep on it, no luck so far.

took her in at half 8 and just got a phone call to say that she's had it done and recovering well and I've to go get her at 11.

Such a relief.

Oh that's good Beastie. Sparkling Cat had her teeth cleaned under GA and she was not impressed with no breakfast.

When she came home, still a bit groggy she was absolutely starving. Smile

Our kitten had the snip on monday - no food from 9pm the night before.

Anyway, had his op, no problems, brought him home, fed him a little and settled him down for a quiet evening, fed him a little more at 10pm then went to bed.

We were woken at 5am the next morning with him careering round like a loon, my sewing room looked like a tornado had hit it (more than normal), he ran in our room and straight up the curtains. Drugs worn off then, offered DH.

We managed to keep him in on tuesday and by wednesday he was back to normal.

Super speedy recovery, and wonder of wonders, last night he was cuddled up asleep with big old cat, that has not happened before!
