I hurt my kitten

As the title says, I hurt my poor little 11 week old kitten. I was coming out of the bathroom and had no idea he was in there too. I closed the door and wondered what was stopping it from closing until I heard him hissing. yip, I jammed him against the door and the frame. I feel so sick and shakey, my poor Alfie cat. Sad

He seems fine, this is his usual mad hour and he is running around as normal. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and I have checked his ribs. God I'm such an idiot!

I slammed the front door on my cats head, I called him in but didnt hear him thundering towards the door and slammed it in temper, on the cats head.

Trod on his tail for ages thinking "what is under my foot? I vacuumed earlier" cat just looked at me.

Trapped his tail in the patio door.

Opened a drawer he had his head in not realising I was actually pulling his little head with the drawer.

Yep I'm a fab cat mom.

I would phone the vet, they usually have someone on duty who answers quieries and will advise you what to do and what to look for re symptoms.

My cats get stood on at least twice a week.

I've shut the door as they were running full tilt into the living room and they've run head first into the door with a wallop.

If he seems to be himself, don't worry too much.

I was making my bed once, and punched my kitten in the head Shock

She just shook her head a few times...and carried on killing her soft toy...as they do Grin

dont feel bad part of life with cats they get into places they shouldnt be and get trodden on , squished, squashed and flattened thats why they have nine lives,

my half siamese thug gets trodden on at least once a day cos he stands right behind me ,

not half as bad as at work (haworth cat rescue) we had a lovely laid back mom cat with her kits and by accident i caught one of the kits with the door of the pen, the kit sqeaked and mom turned into the pschyco bitch mom cat from hell she attached herself to various bits of my leg, growling and hissing luckily i had jeans on or i would have had no leg left, she then detached herself and trapped me in the pen still growling, had to be rescued by another member of staff very embarrasing for me and very painful lesson learnt lol

I kick mine at least once a week Grin she just has a knack of darting into the exact place where I'm about to step. She doesn't even bother giving me a dirty look, just carries on as if that's what she meant to do.

My exceptionally pretty and spectacularly thick ginger boy had his head slammed into the chest of drawers while he was sitting in the drawer.
I should know by now to check before arsing it closed. It's his favourite place in the world and he can open it on his own.
Ikea Malm if anyone is looking for a present for their cat.

Greekcat jumped up as I was opening the glass door to give him a treat ergo glass door hit cats face and cat got extra treats

Pinot · 05/05/2012 10:23

Blush moi aussi

It's one of the funniest things to shake the Dreamies packet, they both race in and collide with each other in their haste to be first to the treats.

Grin all of these poor kittens will be calling RSPCA!

Grin or call 'CatLine'

Ilovedaintynuts · 06/05/2012 15:36

I thought it was just me who hurt my cat regularly Smile

When my cat was about 10 weeks old I kicked it full force against the wall while it was sleeping Blush
The DC's have an area of the conservatory as a play area. The toys always seem to spread in to the other areas and in a grumpy mood I often kick toys back into the play area.
I kicked what a thought was a cuddly toy but was in fact my very young kitten! I was mortified but it was fine, thank goodness.

I step on my cat almost every day.
He seems to be under my feet all the time!

But the other day he ran towards the french windows and hit his nose on them. Doh.

As he has hit various things because he runs off whilst looking somewhere else. Double Doh.
