Advice about kitten dry nursing

We bought our gorgeous kitten home 4 weeks ago when he was 8 weeks old. He's so lovely but insists on sucking on my neck or chin everytime he jumps up for a cuddle. I thought he would stop doing it once he felt more secure but he hasn't, it goes on for 10-15 minutes at a time and if I move him he just cries until I let him back. How can I stop him doing it without upsetting him or do I just have to let carry on until he grows out of it ?

My cat is 9 and still does it but only to me Hmm

Oh well, I assumed he would grow out if it, he only does it to me never dh or dc so will assume he loves me the best Smile although I imagine a fully grown Tom cat nursing may not look as cute as a kitten does

Have had the same issue with one of our cats. He used to suck our hands or fingers, so every time he started we put his paw near to his mouth instead. He now sucks his left paw, only his left, before he goes to sleep.

He does look very sweet when he does it, and extremely gormless when he stops mid suck, with his tongue poking out.
