Advice Please

I have got an 8 week old Persian kitten. She is relucatant to use the litter tray but does for pees. She absolutely refuses to poo in it and just waits for the bathroom door to open and then poos in the bath or shower cubicle. I have had loads of cats but they are usually the manky old strays that nobody else wants and they tend to go outside and take care of things themselves.
She is an extremely happy little thing, much loved already by the menagerie (3 dogs, 3 cats and a 3 week old puppy we found in a ditch).

how do I make her poo in the litter tray? have ran a few baths lately only to find a floating turd just as I am going to get in it!

Some cats like to use one tray to pee in and another for poo - could you try that?

Also try different litter in the tray

She's a fabulous, funny, affectionate cat though!

Also have a persian and she was a mare for weeks when she was a kitten choosing to use anywhere except the litter tray despite being fully litter trained at the previous owners house. Turns out she HATED the sawdust pellet type cat litter and as soon as we switched to the gravel type we never had another accident. Def worth a try. HTH

Thank you for the help, a second tray did help. She has started to poo in the garden now...deep joy trying to stop 3 dogs having tasty treat now!
