My 9 week old kitten keeps biting me on
My chin!
Every morning he will sit on my chest purring away madly, head buts me, licks my chin (yuck) then gives it a bite. Why does he do this? Can I train him not to? I have been saying NO loudly and puttIng him on the floor but he jumps straight back up. Confused

He wants you to get up and feed him/play with him. Shut the bedroom door.

Lol I too have a 'fuzzy alarm clock' - mine taps my face with her paws.

Put your head onder the cover and ignore, start just before the lick.

They are mouth oriented, just like human babies. Gentle discouragement & admonishment, he'll outgrow it ime.

Should have said he does it when I get up in the morning after I have fed him and I'm sitting down with my coffee.

what he is doing is natural to him as in the wild/ feral nest the kittens once they are on solid food will lick the mothers face and nip it to get the mom to give them food and yep it hurts whent they do it my siames thug sits behind me on the sofa and pulls my hair wiuth his teeth quite hard dont know why he thinks me hair needs rearranging

I get the chin biting thing, also licks my face or bites my cheek to wake me up.... doesn't do any of these things to DH

My ginge does that. Not on the face though. It is always when I've just got out of the shower and drying myself.
He nips whatever part he can reach. It does hurt.
