Is there anything I can do(other than daily brushing/grooming) or something I can give them to make their fur stick to them better?

Neither is going bald or anything, both perfectly healthy but there is so much hair it drives me potty Confused

You can get fish oil capsules for cats. That might help.

It's spring, the moulting will be worse than usual because their winter coats are being shed. Are they a breed or just moggies?

Also try one of these wonder gadgets.

Also I think I remember see a cat food in the vets that was an anti-shedding formula.

Thanks both Smile

I'll see if I can a trial pack of the anti shed food, they can be a bit fussy when it comes to food so wouldn't want to shell out on it only for them to turn their noses up.

I think I may have a furminator, or something very similar. Problem with that is I have to do it. I love them but I don't want to have do anything for them other than the basics, that's beauty of a cat, isn't it? I sound thoroughly lazy there, I know but that's why I have cats, not dogs because they're supposed to be independent.

They're both plain old hairy moggies.

I have laminate floors and cat hair drifts casually around like tumbleweed.
It means it's time to get the hoover* out.

*Other vacuum cleaners are available.

I'm having a nightmare at the moment with hair. My kitty is pretty much an English short hair but he has some persian in him too so some of his body is very hairy, it's like fluff on his chest and tummy. Usually when we are in the UK, he is outside more than inside so I find this helps deal with the hair shedding, it blows off him outside. However, at the moment we are living in a flat in Poland so I can't let him out (other than on his harness) and it's not doing quite the same job, the hair coming out of him is unreal. I swear I could collect enough to make a new cat in 3 days lol I'm brushing him lots and even using wet paper towels to rub over him to try and remove more (it works but not as much as I'd like) Poor thing is having 3 fur balls weekly too, even though I'm giving him yeast paste to deal with them. I'm asthmatic so I have to keep on top it constantly, it's driving me mad. I asked BF earlier " I wonder what Alf would look like if I gave him a skinhead" :) Seriously I'm thinking of maybe trimming his fluff.
Maybe someone here can recommend if those comb things work, they have bladed teeth I think, and they are supposed to thin out the hair rather than cut it off?
