Think my beautiful boy will have to be PTS

My beautiful boy - only nearly 5 - has looked a bit thin for about 3 weeks now, suddenly gone downhill so fast overnight. Can't get in to see emergency vet til 7.30 tonight, and I don't even think he will last that long. Me and DD3 sitting here in floods of tears clockwatching til we can go.

Oh lady I am so sorry. What do you think is wrong? Could you ring and ask to go in sooner?

Thank you Sparkling. I think it was his kidneys that failed. He died before we could get him there, in fact just after I posted. Had made him comfortable and warm, and he was purring as I stroked him not long before he went.

I am so sorry, it sounded peaceful and calm and he wasn't in a strange place.

So sorry to hear this. I didn't even know this could happen to such a young cat.
