jaycat was put to sleep yesterday

I had a thread late last week about jaycat and had lovely support, we took her to the vet yesterday was the kindest thing to do and the vet agreed . I was heartbroken yesterday , but feel better today as it was the right thing to do .

so sorry (hugs) jaycat will be happily cavorting at rainbow bridge (google rainbow bridge poem) and you will have all the lovely memories of her, was where you are a couple of weeks ago and know how hard it is to make that final decision

yes im sure she will i have seen rainbow bridge before its a lovely poem . It is a horrible decision to make but I do feel relieved I know that sounds a bit weird but im just glad she isnt ill anymore

Everyone who has made the decision can understand that. Doesn't stop it hurting though. Sorry for your loss.

Hi, I just wanted to say that my beloved 18yo Maine Coon had to be put to sleep last week. I had hoped and hoped that she was just going through a 'phase' but no. And I miss her every single night I put my key in the lock and open that door and she isn't there. Time to get another kitty I think. But anyway, just to record it, because I have spoken about my beloved girl so often on here.....
