Hi all brought my 6 month old female kitty to get neutered the other day dropped her off and all was well, recieved a phone call from the vet a few hours later saying that she was unhappy to go ahead with the op. she said they had sedated and shaved her but then they noticed that her tummy was quite rounded so have to bring her to my vet for bloods and scan:(
She said it could be a sign of something serious. Has anyone Been through this I'm worried sick ill be bringing her to the vets tomorrow:(

I'm so sorry I dont have any advice, It's never happened to me but I didnt want to leave this unanswered.

All you can do is let them run the tests and see what comes back.

Poor little cat, I let my cat sleep on the bed when he's ill.

Thanks for replying. She seems fine but when I got her home yesterday she just sat on my lap all day, it was lovely but I could just tell she wasn't feeling greatSad

Oh god thats devastating news, I'm so sorry your both going through this.

I didnt know they could get that so young.

is she taking her meds? I sometimes push them into chew sticks and mix it with the food.
