It is a very hard decision to have to make. Will they be able to tell you something today?

Any minute.... He's had several tests this week eliminating causes of anemia. But is not eating,

I lost my bunny today to a gut infection. I wish you all the strength I can to help you make the decision

Its not feline leukaemia or aids It's definitely not a parasite eating his blood cells although his re blood count has gone up this is likely to be due to dehydration. He's on a drip overnight in vets and he's to have a body scan tomorrow and maybe be referred to a specialist place for a blood transfusion or more thorough bone marrow tests. His outlook is not black but definitely dark grey. He just trusts me. I won't let him suffer. I know he's 'just' a cat but he's a full member of the family and his illness brings back all feelings of loss when my da had the big c wrecked tonight!

It is NOT just a cat. I hate when people try to shrug off your pain like that. I cried buckets when we had to get our cat pts last year - best thing for her, but not for me. :(
I hope you can get some clear answers soon.

My cat has been with me for nearly 6 years. That's longer than most of my friends and 3x longer than dp. "just" a cat my fat furry arse

awww my cat passed away with that too, was very quick :(

I'm sorry. I lost my cat to cancer in September. It's just awful.

Sad, but at least you know he didn't suffer. Euthanasia is very peaceful, just a big sleep you don't wake up from.
