As it says, really. I have done some careful internet research ( careful with the search terms that is!!) and found the problem is not unique. He was neutered by CPL before I got him. He's a very sociable, very vocal, very funny and affectionate cat. But he has a sexuaL obssession with a mohair blanket and my dressing gown.
I don't mind too much really and would never punish him for it. I learned in my research that it's thought that some cats pick up on female hormones and the behaviour peaks at the middle of the owner's cycle! Will keep a closer eye on when the behaviour occurs from now on!
He lives with a female neutered cat and 2 dogs at weekends. No obvious dominance issues. I think he might miss me during the day though...
