It's a little black kitten born a couple of days ago! DCs beyond excited!

So far names suggestions are

Harper
Scamper
Marley - had to rule it out as we have a Charlie already, can't have Charlie & Marley!!!!

Envy Enjoy. How's it going?

Bagheera. Clearly.

We got a black kitten a couple of years ago and were trying to persuade DSS to name him Bagheera, but he was having none of it. The kitten is now called Mowgli, which is a big compromise as DSS wanted to call him Baby Pork Chop.

I was trying to convince dd's to use Skimble for ours when they were naming their cats (after Skimbleshanks in the poem).

Kellamity · 16/03/2012 16:32

Baby Pork Chop is a fabulous name. My cat is frequently called Oscar Le Chop :)

Friends have an all black cat named Darth as is Darth Vader. Harry Potter wise how about Minerva if it's a laydee as McGonagal turns into a cat.

Pitch
Overcast
Usain
Bolt
Indigo
Java
Licorice

We've got Sybil & Manuel (who in black and white looks like a waiter).

I've always wanted to use Trevor, Sharon & Tracy as pet names tho.

Thomas
Nigel ( black in latin)
Nicholas
Claude (snicker)

Cats usually have several names, I find. Often they 'tell' you what their 'real' names are after several months and after settling on a name you have long agonised over. Typical.

Tb, care to explain the "g" names in France? Just interested!

Northernlurker · 19/03/2012 21:44

Tybalt - good Shakespearean inspired name.

Walter - you've got to love a cat called Walter.

iamkirsty · 26/06/2012 17:03

Our two new kittens we got last tuesday are called Luna and Weasley :)
