Cat being spayed tomorrow - can I give her breakfast?

Taking cat to vets at 8.30 am to be checked in to be spayed, forgot to ask vet if I could give her breakfast, what do you think??

No she can't eat from about now. You should be ok to leave water down until bedtime then take that away as well

Get her some chicken breast for when she comes back though, there usually starving.

Lots of boiled chicken breast if my two boys are anything to go by.
They had three between them and were still hungry. Since they hadn't vommed I gave them their ordinary dried food.

Hi all thanks for the replies, she came home after the op as right as rain and has been eating like mad (including chicken!). Was warned she would be groggy but she has not been at all. Have also been given dire warnings re. the necessity of the plastic collar but she has not been picking at her stitches and they look fine so I am not bothering as the collar was upsetting her. She is very bouncy, amazing how little it seems to have bothered her.
