I'm so sad. He was my first baby. He was majestic, cheeky, loving and beautiful. There is a hole in my life without him and I miss madly him already. Just wanted to celebrate the joy and love he gave my family and friends. Love to anyone who has lost a beloved pet recently.

:( so sorry for your loss.

Am now looking at my very naughty kitten and feeling sad, even though he is being very naughty (using the bottom of the sofa as a scratching post Angry )

I don't think it gets any easier does it, we lost a much-loved family dog last Summer, it still brings tears to my eyes now.

Off to cuddle my bundles off fluff and claws

Tell us some tales about him April I always ask that when I respond to these threads, I love to talk about my pets and I feel that telling stories of pets long-since passed, is a fitting tribute to them.

(I do realise that I am a bit of a saddo where anything slightly cat/dog shaped is concerned....humour me Wink)

I'm sorry. I lost my lovely cat last summer. Have lots of good memories. As Brian says, share some of yours with us.

Theres so many. He brought happiness to everyone who met him and people always remembered him. He was so gentle with our DS and yet so fierce with other cats. This morning he was so desperate for love that I stroked him for 15 minutes even thought I had other things to do. He was a master of comedy. He used to imitate my son to get attention, even this morning he was trying to put a toy car down a ramp and play with play dough. We loved him dearly, like our first born.

Everyone who meets hims comments about him or talks about him, he was and is a source of happiness and fun. He was hit by a car and I took him to the vet, even though I knew he was gone. He was 4 a couple of weeks ago. I'll try to post a pic on my profile. My days will be emptier without him. I hope he didn't suffer too much.

How lovely that you gave him that attention this morning. At least he knew right till the end he was much loved and cared for.

Well, April, if you could have a happier life than he had, would you?

He was loved, happy and very comfortable at home.

He may have only been with you for 4 years, but they are 4 years that you gave and received love to each other.

So sad that he was hit by a car, it's my biggest fear with my stupid kitten. Bert has already broken his pelvis (being inquisitive) and I just know that of my 2 cats, he's the most likely to get hurt on the road Sad

RIP to your cat and have a cat-owner's hug from me (())

x

I've put a picture on my profile of him in the snow. Miss him always.

Thanks guys, I know to many, it seems ridiculous, but he has given me more and I am him, than many humans I have known. We are lost without him but celebrating his short but wonderful life. I'm dreading waking up tomorrow and remembering he has gone and we have to bury him and say goodbye for the last time. My heart is breaking.
