Missing my cat

My lovely, lovely cat was hit by a car on Friday and we ended up having to have her put down as she had head and spinal injuries. I cried on her for 20 minutes and I am still absolutely devastated. I just miss having he little purry nose poking in to whatever I am doing. She rarely went out onto the road so I am gutted and I am wishing that I had got home earlier as maybe she would have come in the house with me.

I just feel so, so sad :(

(gentle hugs) i lost my georgous silver tabby BSH (think whiskers cat) Garfield to a car he was the most georgous gentle cat i ever had in my life and like you i was absolutely devastated and the if only i had let him in a bit earlier, if i hadnt let him out, if only if only went through my head, i had a nine day wait of putting notices everywhere before i found out what had happened, broke my heart, even now i cant buy whiskas food or biscuits because Garfie is all over the packets , sadly some cats seem to be in our lives but a short time and i know its not much consolation now but your cat had a loved life and she loved you thats all you can do,

oh I am so sorry. I know how painful it is to suddenly not have them around. We have had ours cremated and now the4 owners of some lovely little boxes of ashes, and have taken comfort that they are still around us.

Not sure what you decided to do with your little friend, but you must think of how much love you gave her and what a happy life she had with you.

The pain will ease in time xx

We buried Delilah under my Dad's vegetable patch! There are many cats buried in that bit of garden.

We are currently living with my parents who have two cats whilst we save up to buy a house. Mum won't let me get any kittens until we have a house of our own!
